Scrubbed sore on right foot

I had a pedicure on Sept 10th 2013 at around noon at the Woodland, Washington Regal Nail salon. I requested the tech. remove some callouses on my heels. He proceeded to put a solution on my heels, then picked up an instrument (similar to a rough scratch pad)to remove the callouses. At this time I felt a burning sensation on the inside of my right foot above the heel area and below the ankle on my right foot. I asked him to remove his hand, which my foot was resting on and saw blood. He had rubbed into the tender skin and caused a dime size abrasion in this area. No apology was made nor was a bandaide offered or antispectic for the wound he created. The pedicure was then complete. I then ask if one of techs. would put graphics on my big toe nails. This service was refused even though I stated I would wait. The abrasion continued to bleed, so I left to tend to it. Today 6 days later it is still very tender and possibly infected. I have pictures taken on the 10th. I would like a claims rep. to contact me, via phone. Your attention to this matter would be appreciated. St. Charles Regal Nails located in Walmart!!! YIKES!

DO NOT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked in today to only 1 technician working. I asked for a manicure and sat down. She had me soak my fingers in soapy water and seemed really out of it. She then tried to open the nail station drawer to pull out the cuticle softener and could not get the drawer open. She kept mentioning how she did not normally sit there. After a few mins of a really awkward struggle with the drawer she had me scoot back so she could pull the table away from the wall to gain more leverage to get the drawer open. She then reached for the cuticle pusher and started to aggressively push my cuticle back..OUCH!!!! it took her close to 10 mins!! I could not figure out what was going on and why she was not just using a cuticle trimmer like normal. She had pushed all the cubicles back but all the dead skin was just hanging there. Then she had me go wash my hands. At this point I was feeling really uncomfortable and confused because she had not filed my nails or trimmed the cuticle but she seemed like a nice lady so I decided to give her a change to redeem herself.Maybe she is just having a bad day I thought? I came back from the sink and she started to buff my nails??? Yet she didn't really know what to do because she was also buffing the skin right below my nails off! Ouch again!!!!! My skin also started to feel burned from the filing of my skin and I looked down to she that I was now bleeding a bit on my ring finger!!! Yikes!!! I began to decide how I was going to leave. As I started to awkwardly scoot back she grabbed my hands and started coat them with cuticle oil. She brushed each nail twice. At this point I thought wow this lady has never even had a manicure because this is all backwards! She was oiling them up before cuticle trimming or nail filing.,,. She was acting so weirdly that I thought she was drugged out and had just had NO IDEA WHAT TO DO and most certainly NOT a nail technician! She kept taking about the manager Michelle and how she had done nail for 23 years. I asked her how long she had done nail... Not as long a Michele she said. She then pulled out the cuticle trimmer and did not know how to hold it and clip and she started to shake. The last straw was when she started filing my pinky nail with an acrylic nail file, which was just drenched in cuticle oil and so it just ripped...She keep filling it down further and further until I pulled my hands back as she said "Oh you must have a thin nail because it is ripping as I file it" At this point I was so creeped out that this lady was allowed to work her that I directly asked her if she really worked here. She looked down and didn't want to answer. She then stammered around and asked me why I asked her that. I replied that I thought she was a nice person but did not seem to know what she was doing. I asked her again if she worked there and if she had EVER done nails before. She said she had but didn't look like she meant it because she wouldn't look me in the eyes just kept staring down at the floor. Finally she admitted that her neighbor Michelle was the manager and was sick and she hadn't really worked there much before(or at ALL!!!!) I CANT believe it . There is NO WAY THIS LADY WAS LICENSED AND SHE HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING....SIMPLY SCARY. DO NOT EVER, AND I MEAN EVER GO HERE!!!! THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!

Time for a fill...

I've seen this place change hands more times than I care to admit. I stopped going to them about 1 1/2 years ago because the service went down, badly! When I was in a hurry, and it was convenient, I popped back in to get my nails done. The nail tech was great and I was happy with him, so I continued to come back. On Friday, (July 26, 2013)I had HORRIBLE service! I expect the drill to get a little close sometimes and maybe make a small cut at the cuticle but I do NOT expect to have the underside of my nail cut so badly as to bleed like I did and STILL have my finger hurt several hours later and be sensitive 3 days later! After the nail tech cut me, he immediately sprayed rubbing alcohol on my finger, then had to use a coagulant to stop the bleeding. He apologized, yes. But I was still charged FULL PRICE! No discount there. I guess my pain and my blood were not enough and he had to have his money too. I'd rather go to the mall and pay for rude service than have to pay these people again to cut me.

Uneven nails and cut cuticles

I started going to Regal Nails at the Ben White location in Austin, Texas. Since I was near I went to the Southpark Meadows location. I got there and signed in around 315. I was called to a station around 330 after waiting for 5 mins they asked me to move to the next station and someone would be with me in 2 mins. While I am waiting 2 other people have signed in and waited on that came in 10 mins after me. At 345 I finally get a station and the lady goes to work doing an awful job. When all is said and done I have 3 scabs on my cuticles and my nails are not smooth, nail polish is clumpy, sides of nails left bare, and some nails are way thicker than others. I recently got engaged and got my nails done to show off my new ring and now I have to wait to get my nails redone before I will even put it on. When I called to complain and ask for a gift card to the location I like they refused saying I could only go back to the stinky place. Sad I won't be going back to the location I enjoyed but I will let them know why they lost my, my moms, my sisters, and everyone else's business I know. Because of there complaint office and the awful job done by other location.

Bad manicure and pedicure

No waiting area, no introductions, no interaction with customer, very rough treatment, just going through the motions, no utensil sanitation, attitude, mumbled to self and staff in Vietnamese only, very sad place with no atmosphere, had to ask for another staff member to do service as owner too rough, and was not happy with just "UP" when he wanted foot out of water, or "down" when he wanted foot in water, need education in communication skills, wont go back there again.Left service without any explanation as to why being passed to other staff member, not an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau so cant complain to them here in Canada...certainly not what they advertise on their web site, Pampering, Royal Treatment etc.

Overcharged on a full set french acrylic

Bad customer service, no interaction with the customers, mumbling between them in vietnamese, I think is very rude cause you don't know if they are talking about you or making fun of you, who knows, sometimes they laugh loud. But that's nothing the worse thing is that this is the second time they charged me more than I was suppose to, next time its not gonna happen again I'll ask before they start working with me. I dont know if I'm going back to that store, if I need to in the future but for now I'm going to visit another one.

You can complaint with Better Business Bureau whether accredited or not. I do and they take the complaint.

I've had resolution in apologies and sometimes that's enough.

It makes the company aware. I don't believe t matters with this company though.

Worst expeience of my life!!!!

While in Regal Nails at Wal-Mart on Dorothy Lane in Kettering, OH, I decided to treat myself to a manicure today. My nails are long, strong and healthy and I wanted to get them painted. Life has been rough lately and I just wanted to do something entirely for me, I needed a treat. I told the tech exactly what I wanted and sat down. Clip, clip, clip, the *** cut my entire right hand down to the nubs. I grabbed my hand and yelled, “What did you do”, she replied, “You want nails done”, I replied, “I wanted my nails done”, and I could feel the tears beginning to swell in my eyes. I asked to speak to the manager and she basically said it was my fault, even though I had explained exactly what I wanted, a basic manicure of my own nails. The entire chain needs to be put out of business, they ruined my nails, treated me like *** and cater to a low life clientale and have no business calling themselves a salon.

I feel bad for you people. I was attacked for the review I did not this company and their polies with regard to my niece..

So don't pay attention to the attacks eh. Yes I'm Canadian. I pass this site to everyone I know and have them review all the reviews themselves.

It's important to pass of word of mouth to create the type of awareness That's important to stop consumer rip off. I like this site.

Very poor pedicure and owner did not care

My daughter and niece took my sister and I for a pedicure for Mothers Day. Three of us had terrific pedicures but my daughters person had hers complete in 15 minutes. We have gone here many times so we were surprised that the manager would not do anything. They gave her a whole $5 off and did not care if we left unhappy. Instead of making us happy by offering her a gift card they allowed us to complain in front of a packed room of waiting clients. It didn't bother them when we told them the just lost 4 clients. The manager said some do a better job than others. Throughout this ordeal more than 1 person agrees that this nail tech is bad. My daughter is a new mother and neede this outing and to feel good. Shame on Regal Nails at th Walmart in Papillion Nebraska for not putting the customer 1st!!!!! Peggy White 402-680-**** Papillion, NE

Charged to much for a gel fill when the board states another price

I go to regal nail at wal mart in Ocoee Florida and I really like my nails but they really over charge you and I normally don't complain but this time I could not lets them one cause since the old manager left the girl in charge now hicked up all the prices. Which is sooo wrong on so many level. I will not be going back. She really needs to review other stores in the area and try to match.I under stand that she needs to make money for the store and sell but stealing is a joke I compare prices with Michigan and there prices are much lower thsn Regal nails

Toe Nail Infection due to Pedicure

I went to Regal Nails at the West Side Roberts St Walmart. I had a pedicure and and gel fill done. Within a week I developed a toe nail infection. I visited my Dr, he diagnosed that the infection was due to a cut in the tissue on the left side of my toenail, also the nail was clipped in an irregular way. He prescribed antibiotics for 7 days. When I went to the Salon to complaint about the problem, the employees were very rude with me, the managers claimed that the infection had nothing to do with the pedicure calling me and a friend of mine liars. They did not do anything about it, not even an apology. I will like to have that place inspected because I think that they are not following the requirements to operate. For example I never saw them disinfecting anything in the place.

On October 24th I had a mani-pedi at the Regal Salon in Little Elm Texas on Eldorado and Highway 423. My index finger on my right hand became red and sore.

I thought it was a result of the manicurist cutting my cuticles too closely but now I believe that the uncleanliness of the shop was also to blame for the nasty infection in my finger. The finger swelled to three times its normal size and the pain was EXCRUCIATING!! My doctor prescribed Keflex for the infection and a steroid for the swelling. My blood pressure was elevated and I had a low grade fever.

This was a horrific experience and I plan on following up on the matter. I did go back to the Regal Salon in Little Elm and report the incident.

If they refuse to help me I plan to go to small claims court. These filthy place must be stopped and Walmart is irresponsible for allowing Regal in their stores.

Over Charged

Shreveport, LA (Walmart). I have been in several Regal Nails in my area of Texas. My daughter and I was traveling at the last minute to an event in Arkansas and stopped to refuel in Shreveport, LA and walked into Walmart and saw the nail shop opening. We went in and asked for a Mani/Pedi with colored tips. The nail person asked for my card and brought back my receipt with a $109.00 charged on it. When I asked she began naming a charge ups for colored tips. I was angry and she had the nerve to ask for a tip. Where is it when you are charged over a $100 for a Mani/Pedi.

Broken nails after 5 days!

I recently decided to get my nails done at Regal nails inside of Walmart in papillion Nebraska. I used to get my nails done weekly at spa nails in Bellevue, but I moved. I got a full set at regal nails only 5 days ago and two of the nails already broke off! RIDICULOUS! They didn't even take the time to trim my cuticles before they put the acrylic nails on. They look super grown out, and two are just half broken off. NEVER again will I EVER be going to regal nails in papillion Nebraska ! Cheap prices I guess but you get EXACTLY what you pay for. So dissapointed. I wouldn't suggest that any one go there.
